KeymasterNo one who has not been subjected to this foul justice system can begin to understand the pain, anguish, and constant regret that each detainee or inmate goes through every day. The courthouse uses a saying “In god we trust.” But God is the only person that is supposed to judge us, yet people swear on Bibles and use the saying “In God We Trust.” But god has sent down commandments which state thou shall not kill, yet there are so many people on death row awaiting too be executed by the same people swearing on a bible and saying “In God We Trust,” so who’s worst: the person misusing religion and killing, or people who make a horrible mistake, who can be rehabilitated and can eventually become a great civilian. Adam made a mistake and ate from the forbidden tree. God didn’t kill him so who gives another human the right to legally kill another human being. The correctional staff is meant to provide care, custody, and control. No facility in NYC or NYS provides care. All they focus on is custody & control. They barely want to do the bare minimum to supply us with toilet tissue, our packages on a timely fashion, mail gets lost a lot, they spray us with pepper spray and assault us physically and verbally for fun. They operate like a gang – they lose your property on purpose and place you in situations where you ‘re bound to get hurt so that they have entertainment. They don’t know the feeling to be locked in a cell so long you start to have conversations with yourself. Even if you exhaust your remedies there’s going to be retaliation.
This system is designed to break you, not rehabilitate you. If you enter the system without a mental illness, you’re almost guaranteed to leave with one.
