KeymasterLast month I wrote about the High-Tech torture taking place in Minnesota’s super max seg known as A.C.U… now I will expound on how cold temperatures is being used as a means of cruel & unusual punishment.
A.C.U is kept freezing cold all year round in the Summer via central air, in the winter via central air, & no heat. In fact, they keep our so called cold under temperature warmed than the cell -72… They claim this is within acceptable limits, according to who?
A.C.U. does not turn on any hear until the outside temperature drops down too, they simply pass out an extra blanket. According to a correctional guard insider. The heat when turned on-never exceeds 50.
A.C.U lieutenant Chad Mercure claims there’s no need for any heat at the moment since it’s been warm out, a whooping 11 at night, about the same in the morning, with a day-time high of about 29.
According to the insider, A.C.U has the capability of controlling the temperature for every individual call. This explains why some prisoners are targeted with a/c being turned on. I can personally attest to skin numbing cold in the cell I’m In, I have to place socks over my hands, whenever I read. Otherwise, I have to continually run my hands under the warm water in the sink. Taking a shower Is an ordeal that requires performing exercise prior to such, just to combat the shivering cold. Nor are we allowed to keep our coats in the cell, yet all the guards wear the same.
This diabolical torture is the norm for A.C.U prisoners… another aspect of torture is the intentional slamming of our metal food tray slot door & the sallyport door.
This particular form of torture has long term implications and can induce a permanent disorder known as Hyperacusis. I will expand on this next month, my personal diagnosis, and the intentional exacerbation of such. A number of years back a guard was killed at Stillwater prison for intentionally placing two known enemies on the same tier. It’s common knowledge that guards place bets on combatants; this has been going on for over 30 years. The response from D.O.C is to treat nearly all prisoners worse than animals especially minorities. It was a minority whom lost an eye in the staged altercation, he than murdered the Caucasian guard.
Until next month…. Watch for my podcast after 3-25-25. Called: “The Voice of the Voiceless”. Dedicated to exposing the corruption within MN. Courts & corrections, I will set it up within a few months after my release. The post Not Heat as Punishment by Juan Silva appeared first on Inmate Blogger.
